California Congressional District CA‑06
Candidate Forum Interviews
Indivisible Yolo's West Sacramento Action Circle is proud to present California Congressional District 6 candidate interviews conducted May 6–7, 2026.
EACH CANDIDATE WAS ASKED THE SAME QUESTIONS
Please take about 3 minutes to explain your position on issues specific and important to West Sacramento such as climate resilience and infrastructure needs.
Have you or would you ever receive funding from AIPAC, pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, or any corporate PACs?
Do you believe in meeting with voters at town hall events, where constituents can ask live questions? If so, how often?
Do you believe that HUD funding should be restored and/or that other federal tools such as regulations and tax credits be used to address housing issues and homelessness services?
Do you believe Medicare-for-All should be an achievable goal for the Democrats when they next control the White House and Congress?
As a US Representative are there any specific legislative or oversight actions that you would support to limit the harmful or unjust activities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement?
(Bonus Question if time allowed) Since we have a couple minutes remaining in the Q&A session, I would like to ask you why you think you will be the best candidate to defeat Kevin Kiley in November?

ABOUT THESE INTERVIEWS
We invited the five Democrat candidates to participate — Guerrero, Ho, Pan, Tomlinson, and Vandenberg. All of them accepted our invitation and were then sent the list of questions the day before their interview. After receiving the questions, Mr. Ho's office sent an email explaining that a scheduling conflict had arisen and that Mr. Ho would not be able to participate. He did not request to reschedule.
INTERVIEW FORMAT
The candidates were asked to make a 5 minute opening statement followed by three minutes to answer Question 1. We then asked them to make very brief answers to Questions 2–6. After their brief answers we gave them about 14 minutes to elaborate on details and nuance to any or all of the questions and allowed time for a closing statement. The meetings were strictly limited to 30 minutes total. The videos are unedited.
