Voter Protection Vision
A democracy where all citizens can exercise their right to vote with no obstacles – physical, systemic, bureaucratic, or reluctance stemming from uncertainty or intimidation – and with ample information for understanding the choices on their ballots.
The threats to free and fair elections are an unprecedented assault from authoritarians who seek to Deceive voters, Disrupt elections and Deny the results of elections that are not going their way. That’s their playbook.
We will act to counter their efforts in every way legally possible. Our volunteers help to Register new voters to grow our majority, Combat voter suppression and Protect the results.
Voter Protection Mission
Foster a group of activists in Yolo County working together or independently in a mutually supportive way to identify and perform various actions to protect and secure citizens’ right to vote, especially in purple districts where each vote carries an outsized impact.
We have volunteer opportunities. Whether you just have an hour or can commit to more; you prefer to work alone or with a group; want to talk to voters and/or volunteers or take on tasks to support those on the frontline, you can be part of the solution.
