In Yolo County

Davis Civic Center Park

Saturday October 18

We can use your help, whether it’s a small amount of time helping with administrative tasks like getting all the on-site volunteers name badges printed … or being a peacekeeper trained in de-escalation tactics. Any of us can contribute in whatever manner or method in which they are capable.

Completing the No Kings Volunteer form is the first step in getting you plugged into the team.

FEATURED SPEAKER: ROBERT REICH
In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. And it's a rallying cry for all of us here in Yolo County, from the county seat in Woodland where we held the first No Kings Yolo to Davis where we can accommodate a larger crowd for our growing movement from across Yolo County and beyond including West Sacramento, Winters and everywhere in the county.

We'll meet at Civic Center Park to march in Davis streets, and then a rally, where we will hear from leaders in the national save democracy movement, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.

Where: Davis Civic Center Park

When: 1:30 pm October 18, 2025

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

We have set a goal to raise $10,000 by September 30 to pay for all of the event expenses we anticipate. We’re using a new donor platform (Zeffy) that is more useful than our ActBlue account for a couple reasons. First, because we receive 100% of whatever you donate to us, rather than a smaller amount that is net of ActBlue and credit card processing fees. Second, because the funds received go into an account that gives us more flexibility in how they are they are spent. Zeffy is free to us but their business model is reliant on the donor paying a small fee which is similar to the Add a Tip function in ActBlue — the donor can elect to leave no tip. What’s different is that Act Blue has already recouped all of its costs by charging us for their processing fee and adding in the card processing fees.
